IntuGuard is a passive fire protection system which was created as a response to a gap in the market, offering a sustainable, minimal waste & timesaving solution to upgrading fire seperations within existing buildings. In contrast to the traditional approach of using plasterboard for upgrades using an intumescent coating that can be sprayed directly on the existing substrates, makes ripping out or adding more plasterboard obsolete.
IntuGuard is especially suitable for multi-tenancy, multistorey buildings – e.g., schools, social housing, hospitals, community centres, retirement facilities – as it allows remediation in live buildings without the need of operations to shut down during the upgrade.
