Alistair joined Jasmax in 2008 in order to head up a new Urban Design and Masterplanning team. With over 25 years’ experience, Alistair has gained a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most accomplished urban designers, working across the country for a range of clients, both within the private and public sectors.
Alistair is passionate about creating better urban places in New Zealand, believing that it is possible to create an amazing and inspiring built environment to complement our stunning natural environment.
To help achieve this aim, Alistair is currently the Chair of the national committee of the Urban Design Forum, a Chair of the Auckland Urban Design Panel, a Chair of the Hobsonville Point Design Review Panel and part of on-going discussions with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development on the role of urban design within New Zealand.
